[ His expression has similarly softened. He may not say as much, most of the time, but Sizhui knows him well enough to read that he probably just wanted the excuse to come check on him, too. ]
[Sizhui doesn't question the occasion or what it's about. He's obedient to his father and simply accepts. To open package, that can come later.
With a nod, he opens the door wider and lets him in.]
Of course. Come on in. If you like to rest, take a seat. I'll go make tea if you like.
[The apartment is neat and tidy. Might smell a bit like dog since Fairy took residence also. Sofa doesn't have much dog hair, but it's Fairy's favorite resting place as a bed instead of the bed on the floor that is designated for her.]
[ He agrees to the tea, stepping in to take a seat as it was offered, crossing his legs and sitting as elegantly and perfectly as ever. He casts a glance over the apartment as Sizhui makes tea, satisfied that the boy is living well and properly.
Once Sizhui joins him again, he waits until the tea is poured before presenting him with the box.
Inside lays a beautifully molded white chocolate rabbit. ]
[Sizhui went to the kitchen to boil and preparing tea. He was used to his father not speaking much, if any little words, but having learned closely as his disciple and son, he was used to it]
You might like this one. The supermarkets have a lot of tea. This one is chrysanthemum tea. It’s sweet and was known to calm the nerves.
[The tea has a floral fragrance. Once the tea is ready and prepared, sees the box has open. Sizhui picks it up and looks at the white chocolate bunny and he smiles, laughing softly in delight.]
It looks like the rabbits back home. I'll break it in half, so we can share it. [Then in mischief] Which part would you like to eat? Would you like the head with the ears or the tail?
[ He tastes the tea, first, breathing it in deeply. Sizhui had excellent taste, as Wangji utterly expected. He raised his sleeve, taking a sip behind it, and then set the cup back down as he watched the boy pick up the rabbit. ]
It is chocolate. [ He hadn't known what the stuff was until Miu had introduced it, so he wasn't sure that Sizhui would either, though he knew the boy had acclimatized to this world much faster than he had. ]
I will take what you do not wish for. [ Now that you've pointed out that the rabbit is going to be disassembled, Sizhui, he's a little pained.. The poor rabbit doesn't deserve it..... But breaking fast with his son is more important, so rest in peace precious rabbit. ]
[Sizhui learns of this world quickly, looking for knowledge outside of lessons. Having knowledge is important and can come in handy. Unlike Jin Ling or Jing Yi, he's more of a studious nature.]
There's no candy like this back at home.
[Rest in peace indeed. Sizhui hands him the part with head and ears. He'll eat the tails then. Biting into it. Chocolate is delicious.]
Do you mean the lantern festival last month? I painted a lot of rabbits that day.
